The C16F3TM160 is a 3-pole, fixed-mounting molded case circuit breaker from Schneider Electric’s ComPacT NSX New Generation range, purpose-built to optimize panel space while delivering reliable overload and short-circuit protection. It’s fitted with a TMD (thermal-magnetic) trip unit rated at 160A, providing adjustable thermal overload protection combined with a fixed magnetic short-circuit trip — a straightforward, cost-effective protection solution for standard distribution and motor-feeder applications.
Rated for an operational voltage of up to 690V AC and a breaking capacity (Icu) of 36kA rms at 380/415V AC, the breaker’s performance scales with voltage — reaching as high as 85kA at 220/240V AC and as low as 8kA at 660/690V AC, per IEC 60947-2. It offers strong mechanical and electrical durability (40,000 mechanical cycles; 40,000 electrical cycles at 440V/In), front-side up and down busbar connections on 35mm pitch, and can be mounted horizontally or vertically flat on its back.
